Have you started your batch of homemade vanilla yet? If so, how's it looking? Here's a picture of mine. It's getting darker. I shake it an average of 3 times a day. I have it sitting in a spot where I see it all the time, so it helps me remember to shake it. I can't wait for it to be done so I can start baking with it!

Wow! 8 days and it's already that dark. I have not started mine yet...but I'm looking forward to making some. :o)
Homemade Vanilla - I'm so jealous!! I always wanted to make a bunch of bottles and give them as Christmas gifts... unfortunately not too many people I know bake:-( Or cook for that matter!
